A down-and out skid row floral assistant becomes an overnight sensation when he discovers an exotic plant with a mysterious craving for fresh blood. Soon "Audrey II" grows into an ill-tempered, R&B-singing carnivore who offers him fame and fortune in exchange for feeding its growing appetite, finally revealing itself to be an alien creature poised for global domination!

One of the longest-running Off-Broadway shows of all time, this affectionate spoof of 1950s sci-fi movies has become a house-hold name. Charming, tuneful and hilarious, with tongue firmly planted in cheek, "Little Shop of Horrors" never fails to entertain.

A  Comedy by Jesse Jones, Nicolas Hope, Jamie Wooten

A church Christmas program spins hilariously out of control in this Southern farce about squabbling sisters, family secrets, a surly Santa, a vengeful sheep and a reluctant Elvis impersonator.

It's Christmas-time in the small town of Fayro, Texas, and the Futrelle Sisters—Frankie, Twink and Honey Raye—are not exactly in a festive mood. A cranky Frankie is weeks overdue with her second set of twins. Twink, recently jilted and bitter about it, is in jail for inadvertently burning down half the town. And hot-flash-suffering Honey Raye is desperately trying to keep the Tabernacle of the Lamb's Christmas Program from spiraling into chaos. And when Frankie lets slip a family secret that has been carefully guarded for decades, all hope for a successful Christmas program seems lost, even with an Elvis impersonator at the manger. But in true Futrelle fashion, the feuding sisters find a way to pull together in order to present a Christmas program the citizens of Fayro will never forget. Their hilarious holiday journey through a misadventure-filled Christmas Eve is guaranteed to bring joy to your world!

A Pop/Rock Musical in Two Acts, Rated PG

HAIRSPRAY delighted audiences by sweeping them away to 1960's Baltimore, where the 50's are out -- and change is in the air! Loveable plus-size heroine, Tracy Turnblad, has a passion for dancing, and wins a spot on the local TV dance program, "The Corny Collins Show." Overnight she finds herself transformed from outsider to teen celebrity. Can a larger-than-life adolescent manage to vanquish the program's reigning princess, integrate the television show, and find true love (singing and dancing all the while, of course!) without mussing her hair?
Of course she does and you'll love every nostalgic minute along the way in this Tony Award winning Broadway smash hit.

A Drama by David Lindsay-Abaire

Becca and Howie Corbett have everything a family could want, until a life-shattering accident turns their world upside down and leaves the couple drifting perilously apart. RABBIT HOLE charts their bittersweet search for comfort in the darkest of places and for a path that will lead them back into the light of day.
Winner of the 2007 Pulitzer Prize for drama. "David Lindsay-Abaire has crafted a drama that's not just a departure but a revelation—an intensely emotional examination of grief, laced with wit, insightfulness, compassion and searing honesty." —Variety. "RABBIT HOLE presents a tragedy and its consequences with utter candor, and without sentimentality. The dialogue is most impressive for capturing the awkwardness and pain of thinking people faced with an unthinkable situation—and eventually, their capacity for survival, and even hope." —USA Today. (Adult language and material).

LAUNDRY AND BOURBON
and LONE STAR

SUMMER 2012, Dates to Be Announced
Directed by Terry Hopkins
Two One Act Comedies by James McLure
SLT’s entry in the OCTA Play Festival. these two hilarious stories mix the sweet and the salty of small-town chaos on one hot Saturday evening in July. "Lone Star" is a hilarious study of a pair of Texas "good ole boys" on a Saturday night carouse peppered with the playwright's own special brand of cascading, spontaneous wit. In "Laundry and Bourbon" the action centers on the discontent and very funny gossip of three small-town wives whose marriages have turned out to be less than was hoped for. The two make a hilarious evening with some real heart mixed in. This is an addition to the regular season. (Adult language).
